A message from APF of NC founder — Keith Latham, Pharm.D.

Welcome to the new Amcare Pharmacy Forum of North Carolina website, I along with the steering committee hope to enhance this site to further the goals of the forum. The forum began in 2016 out of an idea to create a place where clinical pharmacists, in the state of North Carolina that spend more than 50% of their time in ambulatory clinics, could come together and train on unmet medical needs specific to amcare clinical pharmacy. I also wanted to create a place where networking could be cultivated with real time access to those that specialize in certain disease areas you might be less familiar, yet require some consultation.

I would like to thank the forum's steering committee for all their hard work and dedication to helping clinical pharmacists across the state achieve excellence within our profession. Additionally, helping us come together as a family across the state building strong professional relationships and increasing the quality of care to our patients.
